About the Parish
The villages of Seale and The Sands are located in South West Surrey, 4 miles from the town of Farnham and 10 miles from Guildford. The Parish Council of Seale was originally set up in 1894 as one of the first parish councils in the country; serving Seale, The Sands and Tongham. The civil parish was divided in two in 1984 and new councils were set up for both Tongham and Seale and Sands.
Seale and Sands is one of the 24 parishes within the Borough of Guildford and part of the Pilgrims Ward, along with Tongham, Puttenham, Compton, Wanborough and Shackleford.
It is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and area of great landscape value within the Green Belt. At the last census it had a population of 887.

All correspondence should be directed to the Clerk. The Clerk’s regular working hours are 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
To ensure enquiries are dealt with as efficiently as possible, residents are encouraged to contact the Clerk in the first instance at clerk@sealeandsands-pc.gov.uk
The Clerk is employed on a part-time basis and works limited hours. Correspondence, whether received by email, telephone, post or any other means, will be responded to as soon as reasonably possible. However, responses may not always be immediate.
